Last week I finished reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Normally I like to take a break in between reading Harry Potter books but I can’t wait. The Goblet of Fire finally got into the main narrative conflict of the series. For four books I was waiting for things to kick into gear with Harry, Voldemort and the Death Eaters. The story really picked up in the final chapters of The Goblet of Fire, and like a season-ending cliffhanger on Netflix, I can’t wait.
Through the first four books I really couldn’t see why people were so excited about Harry Potter. The books were good but not entirely compelling. That completely changed with The Goblet of Fire and I cannot wait to begin Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
The Order of the Phoenix is about the same length as The Goblet of Fire so it’s going to take me about the same length of time to work my way through it. Below is the schedule I’ll be keeping and when I’ll be posting my thoughts.
September 28 – Chapters 1-8
October 05 – Chapters 9-14
October 12 – Chapters 15-20
October 19 – Chapters 21-26
October 26 – Chapters 27-31
November 02 – Chapters 32-38
It’d be great to have you read The Order of the Phoenix along with me. If you’ve read it before or you’re reading it for the first time, I would love to hear your thoughts on the book.
If you’ve read all of the Harry Potter books, where does The Order of the Phoenix rank?
I’ll have to it 3 rd favorite of the series for me. Number 4 and 7 are my all time favs. Number 5 gets very emotional.
Harry Potter, the most famous Boy Wizard in the world, needs no introduction.
Among some of the choice responses:. HP7 or, Harry Potter 7 or HARRY POTTER
& THE DEATHLY HALLOWS slammed the box office this weekend.
